There can be no keener revelation of a society’s soul than the way in which it treats its children. Nelson Mandela
I am preparing to publicly – and loudly – advocate for stricter legislation and harsher penalties for child pornographers. This includes those who create, disseminate, and share such horrific content.
I have a substantial audience and a strong base of supporters, all of whom are ready to amplify this message, especially in light of the recent RJ May issue. I am determined to hold accountable anyone who opposes efforts to crush the pedophile culture with oppressive legislation and merciless penalties.
Reading May’s indictment was incredibly difficult, and, though I don’t advocate vigilantism, it took all my restraint not to go to the Lexington County jail myself. But this campaign is not vengeance or me seeking any personal retribution. To think otherwise is to deny ugly facts and divert from reality to excuses. Pay attention! Children are being harmed and I will tolerate neither the acts nor those who chose complacency.
South Carolina has many problems and there is no shortage of ideas on how to correct them. But this is not a debate issue or a contentious platform item. I trust that in your pursuit of leadership in the Palmetto State, you will stand on the side of justice and support these vital protections for children.
We will be watching.
